When you think he can't see you...by ~aREDenigma

... you look sad.

I was just thinking about that quote from Sherlock this afternoon, and then my brain magically decided, as it so often does, to transpose it onto Loki. It fit, weirdly, because Loki is immensely sad, but he would be damned if he ever showed that to Thor -- or Odin, for that matter. He just radiates bitterness and spits like a rabid cat instead.

Thing 1) Making hands/arms the right angle relative to a body is a pain in the ass.

Thing 2) I just want to paint Tom Hiddleston's face over and over, because a) it's gorgeous and b) it's good geometry practice.

That is all.

[EDIT: as the things above suggest, I'm still working on this piece, trying to fix the angle of the limbs and the colors and a whole bunch of other stuff that I'm never quite satisfied with... bear with me?]

So basically, this is like my new favorite thing. I love the reflection, the glow, his FACE. Everything about this is awesome. Even the little bits on the edge of his jacket... thing. <3

I'd be tempted to take credit for the face. I think Tom Hiddleston needs to take credit for that face though. Maybe his parents. >.<
